A pleasant stay

Nice hotel with good facilities in a good location for an overnight stay enroute down to the Dordogne. We dined in the restaurant and the food was good, service was excellent. An overall pleasant experience.

Unfortunately, they make a lot of mistakes in your reservation (wrong room). They seem disorganized with a willingness to do their best but make lots of mistakes: not telling you at what time you can use the spa and trying to help you book a treatment.

Very comfortable bed friendly staff.

Room very good . The bathroom as beautiful the only problem I found was the plug socket in the bathroom was nowhere near a mirror for the hairdryer or for an electric shaver point.

We were allowed to use the spa in the morning before departure but it was before the official opening hours- so the sauna was not functioning , there were no spa towels available and no one at the spa reception to assist us. Also while I was swimming repairmen entered the area which was uncomfortable.

Spaceous and modern

The staff were charming. Particularly the lovely calm young lady who served our evening meals in the restaurant. Also the lovely young receptionist who helped us sort out our car problems. So helpful. Really nice room, bath, shower and comfy bed.

I was unsure if we could use the swimming pool . Also very few tea bags in the room. Several people have already commented on this so why hasn't it been addressed. In a top end hotel this doesn't seem a very expensive or difficult thing to do to keep clients happy

Nice location, ok as a mid range hotel

Really nice location, though a bit off the beaten track so I wonder how it will survive as a mid-range hotel. That may be explain why the place seemed pretty deserted even in high season. Staff were very pleasant, some English spoken.

Just little things, but of course these make the difference. The door to our room (121) was sticking, couldn’t easily be opened more than a third of the way. Judging by the marks on the floor, it had been like that for some time. No cups in the room (we had to ask) and a minimal amount of tea and coffee sachets provided (only two coffees, and only one breakfast tea bag, although there were a few fruit teas). And we had to run the shower for about five minutes before any hot water appeared . Oh, and the room numbering sequence takes a little bit of getting used to too….

La chambre était bien au calme, le personnel était vraiment à l'écoute et très souriant. Le Spa était très bien, l'eau de la piscine était parfaite et il y avait du gel douche ainsi que shampoing à disposition après le hammam ce qui était appréciable.

Le restaurant nous étions dessus par le rapport qualité prix. J'avais demandé des raviolis et j'ai eu des raviolis revus façon polenta. L'entrée était froide (velouté) et mon conjoint a trouvé le hamburger très maigre. Par ailleurs, il n'y avait plus de risotto et de whisky japonais je trouve cela dommage de le présenter à la carte et de ne pas l'avoir. La chambre était bien sauf au niveau de la propreté: éclaboussures de dentifrice derrière le lavabo, dentifrice sur le lavabo, joint douche calcaire (jaune), poussière au dessus de la tête de lit et marque d'urine au niveau de la brosse pour le toilette.

Piscine, Spa et petit déjeuner étaient bien. Le personnel gentil .

Les peignoirs n'étaient pas inclus. Dans la chambre il y avait des sachets de thé mais pas de tasses. L'extérieur n'est pas très soigné. Les chaises en terrasse étaient sales, il a fallu les nettoyer nous-mêmes avant de s'asseoir. Dîner un peu décevant (les frites étaient trop salées).
